1. Scope and application
This Privacy Policy explains how Trading Profits collects, uses, stores, discloses, and protects information when a person visits this website, submits an audit request, asks a business question, or engages us for software quality assurance or technical documentation services. It applies to website visitors, prospective clients, authorized client representatives, and business contacts.
Our services are limited to software functionality testing, quality assurance documentation, application update verification, and user procedure documentation. This website is not a financial, brokerage, investment, payment-processing, cryptocurrency, cybersecurity-monitoring, or client-fund-management service. Please do not submit financial account credentials, payment card information, private keys, production passwords, government identification, or unrelated sensitive personal information through the website form.
2. Information we may collect
Information you provide
We may receive a name, corporate email address, organization name, product or specification URL, selected service, project description, intended user workflows, expected results, target environment information, and other details reasonably necessary to understand a proposed QA or documentation scope. If a project proceeds, we may also receive commercial correspondence, statements of work, billing contacts, and records of approvals.
Technical and usage information
The website platform may automatically process information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, device category, language, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, approximate region, and diagnostic events. The precise information available depends on the Shopify configuration, hosting services, security tools, and analytics features enabled by the store operator.
Project materials
During an engagement, a client may provide test builds, non-production accounts, requirements, screenshots, logs, interface samples, test data, or draft documentation. Clients should provide only materials they are authorized to share and should minimize personal or confidential data whenever possible.
3. How information is collected
Information may be collected directly from you when you complete a form, communicate with us, approve a scope, provide project materials, or respond to a project question. Technical information may be collected automatically through the website platform, essential cookies, local storage, server logs, and security mechanisms. We may also receive business contact information from an authorized colleague who asks us to coordinate with you on the same project.
The interactive website form is designed as an on-screen demonstration and does not transmit the entered content unless the website operator later connects it to a delivery or customer-management system. The success message states this limitation. If the implementation changes, this policy should be reviewed and updated before collection begins.
4. Why information is used
We may use information to evaluate a requested project; define testing boundaries; prepare an estimate or statement of work; provide contracted QA or documentation services; coordinate access and schedules; reproduce reported behavior; prepare test cases, checklists, issue records, QA summaries, user guides, and related deliverables; respond to business inquiries; maintain engagement records; secure the website and project environment; comply with legal obligations; establish or defend legal claims; and improve operational procedures.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on steps requested before entering a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, legitimate business interests that do not override individual rights, or consent. Consent may be withdrawn where it is the applicable basis, without affecting processing already completed lawfully.
5. Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies
The site may use essential platform cookies needed for security, session continuity, load balancing, storefront functionality, and preference management. The theme selector stores a local browser preference under the key tp-theme so the dark or light interface can remain consistent. This preference does not identify a person by itself.
Optional analytics or advertising technologies should be activated only in accordance with the Cookie Policy and any consent requirements that apply to the visitor. Browser settings can remove or block cookies, but doing so may affect site operation. Additional details are provided in the separate Cookie Policy.
6. When information may be disclosed
Information may be disclosed to service providers that support hosting, commerce infrastructure, email, document storage, project management, accounting, professional advice, or security, but only to the extent reasonably necessary for their role. These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy obligations.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, court order, lawful government request, or to protect rights, safety, property, systems, and users. If the business is reorganized, merged, financed, sold, or transfers relevant assets, information may be included in the transaction subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements. We do not sell personal information for money. We do not disclose project materials to unrelated parties for their independent marketing.
7. Data retention
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including scope evaluation, service delivery, records management, legal compliance, dispute resolution, security, and enforcement of agreements. Retention periods may differ by category. Unaccepted inquiries may be deleted sooner than executed engagement records. Contract, accounting, and tax records may be retained for legally required periods. Test artifacts and client materials may be deleted or returned according to the applicable statement of work or written instructions.
Backups and system logs may persist for a limited period after active deletion. When deletion is not immediately possible, access may be restricted until the information is overwritten or securely removed through normal system cycles.
8. Information security
Reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures are used to reduce unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss. Measures may include access controls, account separation, minimum-necessary access, secure transfer arrangements, software updates, backups, and vendor review. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Do not enter credentials or sensitive production data in the public website form. Secure test access, if required, should be arranged separately after scope approval. Clients remain responsible for selecting appropriate non-production accounts, removing unnecessary personal data, maintaining backups, and promptly revoking access when an engagement ends.
9. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on location and applicable law, a person may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing; to withdraw consent; or to appeal a response. Identity and authority may need to be verified before a request is completed. Some information may be retained when required for legal obligations, fraud prevention, security, recordkeeping, or legal claims.
Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted, subject to proof of authority. We will not discriminate against a person for exercising an applicable privacy right. Requests should identify the relationship with the business and describe the information or action requested so that the matter can be evaluated accurately.
The website is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the site. If such information is discovered, it may be deleted after appropriate verification.
10. International access and external platforms
The website may be accessed from locations outside Wyoming or the United States. Information may be processed in the United States or another country where a relevant service provider operates. Those jurisdictions may have different data-protection laws. Where required, appropriate contractual or legal safeguards should be used.
Shopify and other infrastructure providers may independently process information under their own privacy notices. This policy does not control the privacy practices of unrelated websites or services. References to a product URL in a project request do not authorize us to access restricted systems or collect information from them.
11. Policy changes
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in services, technology, platform configuration, legal requirements, or business procedures. The revised version will display a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the website or an appropriate direct business channel when required.
