1. What this policy covers

This Cookie Policy explains how Trading Profits and the website platform may use cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, server logs, and similar technologies when a person visits the site. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.

A cookie is a small text file stored by a browser. Local storage is a browser feature that can retain a limited preference on a device. Similar technologies may recognize a browser, maintain a secure session, remember settings, measure site performance, or help prevent misuse. Some technologies are set directly by the storefront; others may be supplied by the Shopify platform or a service configured by the store operator.

2. Types of storage technology

Session cookies

Session cookies generally expire when a browser session ends. They may support page navigation, secure request handling, or temporary storefront state.

Persistent cookies

Persistent cookies remain until their stated expiration, until replaced, or until deleted by the user. They may remember preferences, consent choices, or returning-browser information.

First-party and third-party technology

First-party technology is associated with this website’s domain. Third-party technology is associated with another provider that supplies a platform, analytics, embedded media, security, or other configured functionality. The specific provider list depends on the current Shopify theme and installed applications.

3. Cookie categories

ESSENTIALUsed for core storefront operation, security, session continuity, network management, fraud prevention, and features requested by the visitor. Blocking these items may cause the site to function incorrectly.
PREFERENCEUsed to remember a visitor’s interface selections, such as color theme, language, region, or accessibility preference where those features are enabled.
ANALYTICSUsed, if enabled, to understand aggregate use, page performance, navigation, error conditions, and the effectiveness of site content. Non-essential analytics should follow applicable consent requirements.
MARKETINGUsed, if enabled, to measure campaigns, personalize advertising, or recognize a visitor across services. The current site package does not require marketing technology for its stated QA-services purpose.

4. Storage used by this custom site package

The supplied interface stores one local browser preference called tp-theme. Its value is either “dark” or “light.” It is used only to restore the visitor’s selected display theme on future page loads. It does not contain a name, email address, project description, account identifier, or financial information.

The modal audit form in the supplied package operates locally in the browser and shows an on-screen confirmation. It does not set a project cookie and does not transmit form content unless the website operator later connects it to a delivery, commerce, analytics, or customer-management service. If that behavior changes, this policy and the form notice should be updated before deployment.

5. Shopify platform cookies

Because the site is intended for Shopify, Shopify may set cookies or similar technologies needed to operate the storefront, secure sessions, remember consent, prevent fraud, support checkout features, or provide configured analytics. Exact names, purposes, and lifetimes can change when Shopify updates its platform or when the store operator enables applications or features.

The store operator should periodically review Shopify’s current cookie documentation and the installed application list, remove unused applications, and ensure the live consent interface accurately reflects non-essential technologies. A static list should not be treated as complete if theme features or applications change after this policy date.

6. Consent and user controls

Where law requires consent for non-essential cookies, those technologies should remain inactive until the visitor makes a valid choice. A visitor should be able to reject non-essential categories as easily as accepting them and should be able to revisit the choice through the live site’s preference control.

Most browsers allow users to inspect, block, delete, or limit cookies and site data. Private browsing may reduce persistence but does not make activity invisible to the website, network operator, or service provider. Device and browser instructions vary. Blocking essential technology may prevent login, security, cart, or preference features from working.

Global Privacy Control, Do Not Track, or similar signals may be recognized where required by applicable law and supported by the site configuration. Because technical standards and legal duties continue to develop, responses may vary by browser, jurisdiction, and enabled service.

7. Analytics, embedded content, and external services

If analytics is enabled, the provider may receive technical data such as browser type, device category, approximate region, viewed pages, time information, referring source, and interaction events. Settings should be configured to minimize unnecessary data and honor applicable choices.

Embedded media, fonts, maps, chat tools, scheduling tools, or social features may allow their providers to set technology. The supplied site package intentionally does not include social links, map links, telephone links, or email links. If an operator adds external features, it must review the resulting cookie and privacy obligations.

8. Retention and updates

Cookie duration depends on purpose and provider. Session items may expire when the browser closes; persistent items may remain for a defined period or until deleted. Preference storage may remain until a visitor removes site data. Server logs may be retained separately for security, reliability, and legal requirements.

This policy may be updated when the site configuration, Shopify platform, installed applications, legal requirements, or business procedures change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Material changes should be reflected in the live consent interface where appropriate.
